The Jacketeers have done it again. Juniors and seniors held their annual prom last Saturday at the Galveston Convention Center. Seniors Cecilia Dale and Nathan Hicks were crowned prom queen and king. Students and their dates enjoyed a wonderful seafood buffet and danced the night away with their friends.    

The MCJROTC put on a memorable event November 10 to honor military veterans in the community. MCJROTC instructors, Major Timothy Flynn and 1st Sgt Stephen Garcia and cadets were able to enlist over 100 veterans to participate this year. Students who have demonstrated academic and service excellence were celebrated by being initiated into the AHS Chapter of the National Honor Society on Oct. 12.
